The NY Otolaryngology Group has been chosen as the Northeast regional academic site for a major international clinical research study on sudden hearing losses. (ASSENT) This study is to evaluate a new approach for acute sensorineural hearing losses. Treatment must begin within the first 72 hours after the loss was noted.
